There are a lot of advantages for working at night. I personally prefer working at nights as I get to do more things during the day, like attending classes, taking care of businesses and investments, taking care of the kids, doing chores, and more. What is challenging is to keep myself awake when I am at work from late in the evening until the early morning. I have tried dozens of ways to keep myself awake. Read more…

Things To Do In Davao

Posted by admin on Apr 25, 2009 in Vacation

My girlfriend’s family and I went to Davao City for the holidays. Being a manilenyo, I’ve always thought there’s nothing much to see there except for trees and people in muslim attire. When I got out of the Davao International Airport I realized how wrong I was. The Davao International Airport itself looks far better than the old domestic airport we have in Manila. Read more…

I have finally gotten tired of getting big companies rich. Now is the time to help make myself rich. There are a lot of things that I can venture into. A couple of friends helped me make this decision. I learned that just like them I can make money in the convenience of my own home, online. I have been copywriting for a while now and have earned a decent amount of money with it. I am looking at venturing into Ad marketing through Google Adsense. I learned that there is also a market place for buying and selling blogs and websites. For those who are looking into following the same path… being a permanent vacationer with benefits, go online and learn the craft of earning money online.

Birthday Boy at Bellini’s

Posted by admin on Jan 16, 2009 in Food and Dining

I love to eat Italian. We’ve been to a lot of Italian restaurants and been cooking pasta dishes a lot at home. Then I realized that I haven’t really eaten in an authentic Italian restaurant. So, for my 32nd birthday, I decided to treat my Joanna at Bellini’s. I have been hearing and reading positive reviews about this authentic restaurant and I thought it was the perfect time to try out the place. Bellini’s is located at the Marikina Shoe Expo in Cubao, Quezon City. Read more…

New Year’s Eve at the Office

Posted by admin on Jan 1, 2009 in New Age Mentality

Can you believe it? after 6 years in the  Call Center industry, I finally was unfortunate enough to have a shift!  My account is not so kind. To think they’re not even my preference when I started out with them. You see, our account closed down and we were handed over to this new account which is the biggest  online marketplace on the web. It really went sour since we actually did not apply, we were a hand-me down , throw ‘em there agents who got sucked in to this new account by the company. Since i came from the best account in this company, all 150 of us were shifted and felt like we were sold to this new one.  At exactly 12 midnight, I was taking calls, and since it’s the 4th floor, we only got to see a few  sky goodies. If not for my friends also on the  same shift, i could have cursed that day. The only thing that was bittersweet was the moment i stepped out and went down for a smoke, since it’s my lunchbreak. Holding my camera, I took a  picture of  a bright light surrounded by the smoke coming from fireworks…i felt great seeing the picture. It was something different and something to be proud of. January 1, 2009, oh boy,  i hope this is a lucky year for me. Here we go again!

Shopping Xmas Gifts 2008

Posted by admin on Dec 17, 2008 in Uncategorized

It’s christmas time once again, and I am given the chance to send Mom a gift to the States.  Back in the US, they have a list of what you should buy them for this season.  Actually, it was a short list from my Mom. She only wanted a Louis Vuitton Bag. A bag like that costs freaking expensive, and she knows she can have a match of that here in the Philippines. Even better than the real thing, you know how Filipinos think.  I went to the 168 mall in Divisoria, and searched for a bag that matches her descriptiop. After an hour, I got one and it looked good.  My girlfriend and I interviewed  the sales lady and asked for tips on how to shop for a not-so real  LV bag but doesn’t look like one. I was amazed to know that they are divided into different classes,  Class Quadruple A being the highest and closest to the real mccoy. With this in mind, we closed the sale and was intending to go back for more.  Overall, I explained to my Mom and relayed what the lady had said. She’s looking forward to receive the package before Christmas. Mission  accomplished!
